ITINERARY
First Day
Reception at the city airport by company personnel. No ticket is required. This service is provided on a charter flight. Registration and check-in to board the plane that will take us to the Municipality of La Macarena. Arrival to the municipality of La Macarena. Induction talk by the environmental entities. Accommodation in the accommodation corresponding to each tourist at 15:00, a room will be given for a change of clothes and storage of luggage. Lunch in the town centre. Second Day
Breakfast. Departure in the morning hours. 20 minute boat ride on the Guayabero River enjoying the scenery. 20 minutes tour in association trucks from the landing point of the boat to the Cajuche spring. We will visit the trail assigned by Coormacarena or National Parks according to permission. Lunch on the hike wrapped in "Bijaos" banana leaves. Return to the urban area of La Macarena, in the same way that Caño Cristales was entered. Dinner. Rest.
Third Day
Breakfast. RECOMMENDATIONS
How to go dressed to Caño Cristales?
Comfortable and light clothing for the activities. Wear a long-sleeved shirt to cover yourself from the sun. Long pants that are not jeans, preferably sweatshirts that are very comfortable and easy to dry. Hat or cap, preferably with neck protection. Closed shoes that cover the ankle, with good grip and that can get wet. The shoes that we use to do the walks should be ready to get wet during the two days that the tourist activities take place. ¿What is prohibited in Caño Cristales?
It is not allowed to traffic the fauna and flora of the region. Help us to conserve. No sunscreen, repellent or any kind of chemicals are allowed in the park. No smoking in the park. No alcoholic beverages inside the park. No water from Caño Cristales should be consumed. No plastic of any kind is allowed in the park. It is recommended to bring a "bottle bag".
¿What to bring to Caño Cristales?
A raincoat or tent to protect you from the rain. Small backpack or auxiliary hiking bag preferably made of two carriers that will not be a nuisance when walking on very narrow or reduced paths. Swimsuit to be used during the 2 days of tourist activities. 2 bottles of water per person (no plastic bottles allowed). Camera with good memory.
